Event Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy

Cancellation Fee Policy (does not include SEE Training registrations)

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Vice President for Conference Services and the Vice President for Financial Services. Cancellation refunds are based on a percentage of the registration fee instead of an actual dollar amount refunded because of the fixed costs NEASEA has agreed to with the vendor.
  • 60+ days:             Full refund minus a $20 administrative fee

  • 59-30 days:          50% refunded

  • < 30 days:            No refund

Registration fees are transferable to another Member within the same institution. Requests must be made in writing to the Vice President for Conference Services prior to the event start date. Requests for exceptions (family/work emergency, natural disaster, travel warning, etc.) may be made in writing prior to the first day of the event to the Vice President for Financial Services and Vice President for Conference Services. There are no refunds once the event has begun. The Executive Board reserves the right to make all final decisions.

Cancellation Fee for SEE Training

  • 30+ days: 100% refunded
  • 14 - 29 days: 50% refunded
  • 13 - 17 days: 25% refund
  • 6 days or fewer: no refund
